Luca Barovier
Biography
I was born in Venice in 1960 from the union of two families known for their artistic craftsmanship of glass. I moved to Milan when I was very young, I inherited the love for photography from my grandfather, a valued master glassmaker from Venice, but also a great lover of photography.
Ever since I was a child I was entranced by his collection of cameras, from the plate cameras to the most recent reflex cameras. After attending the school of applied art at the industry of Sforzesco Castle in Milan, photography became, over time, more than a job and a passion, but a way of living.
I'm an art director and freelance photographer.
I carry out projects about food, interior and exterior architecture, events, fashion, portraits, nature photography. I teach photographic post-production and 3d rendering, both for individual courses and small groups.
I work on advertising and editorial projects.
After many years of working in an agency, I dedicated myself to the private practice and, over the years, I have had the chance of coming into contact with various situations and facing ever-new challenges.
